Weird Rhody was my first foray into digital fiction publishing, an anthology of local Rhode Island Authors contributing weird tales set in Rhode Island. I needed a sharp cover for the ebook, and Mary Carlos’s photo, titled Salty’s Chair, photographed at night under a full moon, set just the right tone. I used it as my background and designed the rest of the cover around the image.
